Fancy my luck - This past Monday The Henry Clay People AND Mezzanine Owls were playing two stellar shows on either side of town. I had to make a tough decision and missed Henry Clay People’s show.

BUT thanks to Mouse at Classical Geek Theater’s lengthy review loaded with tons of photos I feel like I was there. Joey apparently got 2/3’s of The Viper Room crowd to do rock jumps during the band’s epic final song. West of La Brea that’s like trying to part the red sea. Joey you deserve a medal.

The Henry Clay People will play with Le Switch and Division Day next Monday at The Echo while Mezzanine Owls play night 2 of their residency with Eagle And Talon, We Barbarians. and The Black Kites (head to head again!). May 19th you can catch both JAXART bands at Spaceland w/ Eli Paperboy Reed and Lovelikefire.
