“We Died” The Valley Arena‘s third full length album will be released on Thursday May 21st, 2009 as a 7 Inch Vinyl EP + Digital LP Download. We Died” 7-Inch Vinyl EP comes with 2 tracks “Bait & Switch” & “Grayscale” and includes an exclusive B. Side remix of “SOS4XOX” by Ikey Owens of The Mars Volta and Free Moral Agents. The full 10 track album is included with the 7 Inch as a digital download.

The Valley Arena was formed by Mike Nielsen, Chris Stevens and Warren Woodward in late 2003. Early on, the band took influence from both the DC Dischord scene (Fugazi, Q and Not U) and San Diego (Hot Snakes, No Knife). In February 2009, The Valley Arena began work on their third LP, We Died and the album was recorded completely in just eight days!
As of 2009, The Valley Arena has played over 400 shows, including tours and performances with: Mike Watt, Joe Lally (Fugazi), Hella, Don Caballero, Polysics, Thrice, Denali, The Meat Puppets, Monotonix, XBXRX, Planes Mistaken for Stars, The Appleseed Cast and and approximately 1,000 really bad teenage metal bands.
The Valley Arena will be touring California this May.. Check out their tour dates below!

We’re hard at work assembling The Parson Red Heads 7 Inch. Evan and Brette from Parsons spent all day yesterday hand silk screening the covers! We had rubber stamps made with the track listing and I’m spending the night stamping all 200 records. It takes forever but it’s so much fun!
Pre-orders are being shipped out tomorrow AM so if you haven’t ordered yours yet get it done now!

Next Tuesday JAXART will be celebrating the long awaited released of The Parson Red Heads “Orangufang” 7-Inch Vinyl Single and Digital EP! The EP marks the first time the Parsons music has ever been available on vinyl and will also include a digital download card. Trust me their music was MADE for vinyl. This is the perfect Saturday morning sipping a cup of tea record.

Hey friends!
Just wanted to let you know you can now purchase JAXART vinyl releases at Fingerprints Music in Long Beach! This includes releases from The Henry Clay People, Mezzanine Owls, and local boys The Valley Arena.
Fingerprints is seriously one of our favorite record stores in world. We were down there on Saturday for Record Store Day and caught good friends Crystal Antlers doing an in-store as well as picked up a pretty sick adolescents 10 inch.
Be sure to ask the front desk where the vinyl is located and say hi to Dennis for Us!
