Hello friends and loved ones. It’s been a busy past few months and as JAXART expands we’ve been feeling the financial pinch. We want to continue to support amazing music in our community and in order to do so we could really use some help from our fans.

A few months ago we teamed up with our friends at Absent Fever to release Generation Y Not –  a free compilation of music featuring LA Musicians all under the age of 21. The comp is to be given away completely for free.

We want to press 1000 CD Samplers to be distributed to record stores around the country and well as given to the bands featured in the comp. In order to make this happen we need a little bit of help. We are looking to raise $1000 to pay for the manufacturing and shipping of the physical CD. This only covers part of our total costs which we will make up the difference. This compilation is a labor of love and all we want to do is share music with the world.

For your donation we have set up several fun incentives including free shipping on comps, early access to video content, and a free poster. If you make a donation of $100 or more your will recieve 3 JAXART seven inches of your choosing + an ADVANCE copy of So Many Wizards debut album.

Even if you cannot help out financially please help us spread the word about this amazing compilation and the artists featured on it.

While we were out returning home from SXSW Portals premiered the first of 7 videos showcasing the new developing talent which will be featured on our upcoming FREE compilation called “Generation Y Not.” First video features Dreams. – a project of 20 year old aspiring producer Jesse Pimenta.

In case you didn’t get the memo – We are teaming up with the digital label Absent Fever  to present a completely FREE compilation of 7 up and coming LA  artists. The compilation, called Generation Y Not, will be made onto 1,000 CD’s distributed and given away for free around the country.

To introduce you to the artists of Generation Y Not, 7 videos were made by the even younger videographer ‘pxl’, the first of which with Dreams.
